January NEWS FLASH!

We figured that we'd been a little quiet webwise lately so we put together a page to let people know what is going on at High 'n' Mighty. 2005 was a tough year what with starting up a new company but we made it through 2005 and we're looking forward to bigger and better things in 2006. There are several things that we  are not yet in a position to announce but here are some things that we can tell you about.

News from Tim Aldridge

First of all team paddler Tim Aldridge e-mailed us a smart image of him in his DragoRossi Mafia on Aberglaslyn Gorge.

He has a DVD full of images in the post to us so , hopefully we'll be able to post more images of him in action soon.

Tim works at Brookbank Canoes so if you happen to be in the Stockport area please do pop in and say hello to him and the guys.

News from Kober & Moll

Next we have just received several new lines of paddles from Kober & Moll. We're still working on finalising the 2006 brochure with these products in so we haven't got the Marketing text available but we can say that these paddles will provide paddlers looking for paddles in the £90-£160 price range with some very nice options.

News from Eskimo

We also have news of two new Eskimo kayaks that are almost completed and ready for production. The new Cerro may well be a familiar name to those that have been around for a while but it is a completely new shape that we understand will be aimed at larger paddlers who want a boat that will be a good allrounder and we also hope that this roomy design will be popular with clubs and centres.

These images are taken from Eskimo's CAD modelling system and the colours are not representative of the production version.

The new Xeno is much closer to the old Xeno shape but has been tweeked and "beefed up" in response to feedback from Eskimo's pro-team. As was the case when the Xeno was first introduced, this boat is not intended to be a full on "rodeo" boat but a boat that will allow you to play all the way down the river in safety and with confidence.

While these images are also taken from Eskimo's CAD modelling system these images are a much better visualisation of how the final production version will look.

Well, that's all for now. We're off to the Dusseldorf boat show in a couple of weeks so we'll have lots more news very soon.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
