When this AS
Watersports customer picked up his boat from us at the Outdoor Show
he joked with us that it would be cool if Corran would autograph
it. No problem we said and thrust a permanent marker into Corran's
hand!
The guy later e-mailed us to tell me about his first surf trip: "I've just finished my 4* surf assessment in the Fish. I won't go into details, but on a 6 ft barreling face the Fish was out accelerating and outrunning some of the newest mega surf kayaks. The move of the day was my 180 degree bottom turn with a 360 traveling vertically up the face of the barreling lip, then coming out surfing! (all intentional, I assure you...) ;-) I can truly tell you that you've got something special. A 6.6 playboat that surfs better and is faster down the line than a surf specific kayak twice its length again!" |
