Team Double 2D Xmas adventure

Over Christmas 2005 those cheeky little chaps (and a chapess) from Double 2D headed up North of the border for some big boat action. It took them a while to get their photo's sorted but as soon as they did they sent a few over to us.

All the images are of the Allt a' Chaorainn.
According to the D2D boys, they show a reasonably high level when the river becomes more interesting. :-)
We hope that you enjoy them as much as we did!

Dan Heyworth in his red DragoRossi Mafia in the pool below the first flume fall on the Allt a' Chaorainn having just run it.

Hmmm.... We didn't see any pictures of that Dan!

Are you sure???

The orange Mafia is being paddled by a guy by the name of Tom Jones (no, not the ageing Welsh crooner, but another person that loves to paddle the Mafia)!

Darren "D" Broderick didn't participate in this trip to Scotland. The jammy bugger went snowboarding in Canada instead!

These images show Tom Jones running the flume fall followed by Dan and Tom discussing the line he took.

Apparently Dan was unimpressed by Tom's cries of "Why, why, why Delilah" as he ran the drop.

Actually we made that last bit up!

Dan H. running the slabs!

Dan pointing out the line down the slabs to Tom and also trying to convince him that running them is a good idea. Followed by.....

.....Tom running the slabs ;-)

The picture below (far) right shows Dan looking on as Tom reaches the bottom of the slabs intact!

Here Dan Heyworth proves that in the right hands the Mafia flies just as well as the Fish and Squashtail!

This image shows the left-hand line down Pin Ball Fall.

Dan approaching the entry to the final fall on the Allt a' Chaorainn.

Followed by Dan at the point of no return on the final fall.

Well done lad!

Proud to be different! ;-)

The team from Double 2D would like to extend thanks to Nic Pearce for being kind enough to stand on the bank and take the pictures and to Dan's girlfiend Em for filming their adventures!

Apparently an action packed video will follow (as soon as they find the damned lead that connects the camera to the computer)! ;-)
