We've just got back from the London & South East region Whitewater Weekend at Holme PierrePoint. In many ways this is our home event, simply because it is an event that we have attended for many years as fellow paddlers. Always a fantastic weekend regardless of weather and the dodgy camping facilities. It was this time last year (at the last L&SE event) that the idea of High 'n' Mighty Distribution began to take shape. Glenn and I paddled and chatted about our plans and eventually things began to come together. A year on we're not just going along for a paddle, we are one of the main companies supporting the event, along with local High 'n' Mighty dealer Desperate Measures. Since we had all of our demo's there for people to try out plus lots of customers had turned up in their DragoRossi and Eskimo kayaks it was a great opportunity to snap some pictures so here goes: |

| Of course the DragoRossi Fish was our first boat to hit the water. Chris MacMurray took his down the course as part of the GB Freestyle Team's demonstration session. Jon paddled his (mainly when no-one else was looking)! ;-) | |

| Glenn got into the DragoRossi Pintail for a quick blast down the course. While getting in we discovered a customer with his Eskimo Speedo. Of course Glenn had to give that a go! | |

| Our Eskimo demo fleet is now quite impressive with models to suit most people's (and club's) tastes. The new Kendo (this being the third version to go into production) is perfect for those looking to get down the river with predictable ease. The redesigned cockpit is far more roomy and comfortable than on the older models and the new seat is very easy to adjust so that you can trim the boat on the river in a matter of minutes thanks to the new seat design. | |

| The Eskimo Diablo really stands out in it's new two colour livery. Improvements to the design have, as with other models in the range, made the boat increasingly roomy and it simply bounced down the course with ease. A real "cruiser" of a kayak that was recently used by the Eskimo pro-team during their Siberian expedition! | |

Team Double 2D paddler Dan Hayworth went for a blast in the Mafia and
nailed some huge loops!
Ah, and then of course there is the one and only Topo-Duo. The new Topo-Duo looks stunning! It is far more roomy than the old model with the same revised outfitting as seen in the other new models from Eskimo. Again the designer, Jan Kellner, has succeeded in coming up with something new without loosing the "essence of the Eskimo - the spirit of kayaking"! |

Glenn seemed to perfect wave wheeling the DragoRossi Pintail and then took the Eskimo Salto for a spin. He must have been exhausted by the end of the weekend! It seemed as though there wasn't a boat that he left dry! |

WAM member Janie Austen took his DragoRossi Squashtail for a spin and got rather nailed in the looping pool while GB Freestyle team member Jeff Grainger turned up and went for a spin in the DragoRossi Stinger. Jeff is a nice guy who can really throw his boat around. His pistol flips were very impressive! Watch out for news of brand new models from DragoRossi and Eskimo over the coming weeks. The new boats will not be replacements for the existing line up but completely new models to extend the range from each company. And as if that wasn't enough.... We will soon be announcing the launch of the most exciting range of kayak clothing anywhere in the World! Oh, and as if that wasn't enough.... Why not check out our latest movies! |
