It may be some time before we can find a boat small enough for our new team member but we're working on it! Here's the story:Glenn's wife, Angela had quite a quick labour. Her waters broke early on Monday morning (3.50am). Glenn isn't really a morning person but he managed to execute the earliest shave of his life without injury. Angela's contractions started properly after lunch. |

Kirsty was born at 7.38pm. Glenn cut the cord and after a quick puff of oxygen (for the baby not Glenn) they were presented with the most gorgeous little girl weighing 8lbs 4oz. Apparently she was born with more hair than Daddy! ;-) Glenn writes: "I watched the whole thing (amazed I didn't pass out) and have never witnessed anything like it (it really is a miracle)." Both Mother & Baby are fine and enjoying family life. Kirsty has to be the most placid and peaceful baby. She rarely cries and just loves to be cuddled. She loves to be photographed, which is just as well because everyone wants their picture taken with her. Glenn and Angela would like to thank all the staff at the Canterbury Birth Centre (particularly Trish who delivered baby Kirsty) for all their help, support and kindness. They really helped to make the whole experience peaceful and enjoyable (not sure whether Angela would agree). Congratulations to Glenn & Angela from the rest of the team at High 'n' Mighty. |
