Darren Broderick gets hitched!

Saturday 11th March 2006 was a very important day for Darren Raymond Broderick for it was the day he tied the knot with his smashing girlfriend Jessica Laura Miller at  Dissington Hall, Ponteland.

Dan Heyworth and Ollie Castle were there with camera's in hand. Thanks to them both for mailing us a few piccies  for the site.

It was, for the most part a very formal occasion
(with the exception of the fruit cocktail that is)...

Plenty of peaches and plums apparently! ;-)

Luckily the weather wasn't too bad for the time of year.

Weather report from Mr. Heyworth goes: "It started off and ended slightly snowy. It was cold and dry in the middle."

The happy couple.

They walked beneath an arch of paddles but we don't have a picture of that. Cool idea though!

Congratulations from all of the team at High 'n' Mighty.

Darren may look suave in the kilt but he looked a little silly when he was stumbling over his lines during the wedding ceremony!

While Mr. and Mrs. Broderick concentrate on cake cutting duties (gotta make sure everyone gets a fair portion after all) Mr. Matthew Deaves esquire practices a little sign language.

Is he:

  1. Smoking an imaginary cigar?
  2. Gesturing a term of endearment toward his old friend Timmy Sadler?
  3. Predicting the number of gates at Hurley this weekend?

Answers on a postcard to......

Self confessed "Babe magnet" Dan H with Darren's sister and then and two other young ladies (and a sailors hat)! The lady to the right, with the "wandering hands", is Dan's girlfriend Em.

He heard ladies like a man in uniform. Apparently Dan had a great time until Ollie got intimate.

Ollie using his "imaginary telephone" trick to get close to Jamie Burbeck.

Do not accept calls from Ollie's imaginary cell phone. You have been warned!

There are unconfirmed rumours that Matt Deaves pulled but we're pretty certain that it wasn't the bride.

Finding his wife in the arms of one of his best mates, Darren takes his mum for a spin round the dance floor.

Dan getting friendly with anyone and everyone.

Don't worry, he learnt his lesson when Ollie became confused by Dan's intentions, got somewhat over-friendly and gave him a nice big kiss. When asked what it was like kissing a boy Ollie brazenly stated that "Muppet from Nookie was a better kisser". I really don't think we want to know!

Left to right:

Lovely Clare O'Hara smiling.

Ollie Castle showing how to surf the dance floor. Presumably this picture was taken before he passed out and someone wrote "UKRGB.COM" on his head in permanent marker... ;-).

Jamie Burbeck staying out of trouble (up to the point that he pulled Ollie's ex).....

A great time was had by all. Once again VERY BEST WISHES to the happy couple!
